I'm a mum of two gorgeous humans which keeps me busy. When I'm not parenting and photographing beautiful families, I love a good book, a good series and a good laugh!
Photographing families is so much more than taking photos. Firstly, having a family is not a given for everyone. Sometimes, there is a journey. I underwent a long fertility journey to complete our family. So, I know just how precious each newborn is that comes into my studio space. The reason I am a photographer stems from that journey. I walked away from a 14 year career in Financial services to complete our fertility journey without stress. Somewhere along the way, I took my love of photography and made it into the business it is today and I have never looked back.
For me, your photography session, whether it's maternity. newborn or family, is about making you feel special at a time in your life when you need calm, patience and time without pressure or stress.
From booking in, to planning what everyone will wear, understanding what makes your family tick and how you can feel most comfortable during your session, to then capturing those images that will decorate your home and fill your heart; that's what it's all about for me and why clients come back to me time and time again.

The Studio
Soft, warm and neutral, that's what my studio space emanates.
I have built a style, from day one, that is based on the concept that timeless images need to look beautiful on your walls regardless of the colour schemes that come and go. And that means embracing a soft, neutral scheme with minimal distractions.
My clients invest in photographs to adorn their walls because they want to capture and preserve memories of their babies and families as they grow. I want you to see your images as photographs on the walls of your home, not just digital images.
That is why I keep my styling neutral and avoid too much colour. Not because colour isn't beautiful. But because colour is something very personal that you can bring into your home as you wish. Your photographs embody feeling. I want your connection to shine through, faces not outfits, and that is why we work together to keep the style very simple.
My studio has everything you need to make that happen. Soft lighting, safe, comfortable props and seating for everyone. Only the highest quality props and client closet dresses, newborn knits and wraps make it into my studio. There is a comfortable seating and snack area complete with changing table and everything you might need when not being photographed.

Why hire a Newborn Photographer?
A dad kissing his baby's head, a mum soaking in her newborn's scent, is absolutely everything in that moment. But a moment is just that, a moment. And like all moments in that hazy newborn stage, or even the first year of life, they are far too fleeting.
And that's why we want to capture it all.
Not just the smiles, but the breathing in of that little head, the holding of tiny fingers and the kissing of tiny toes; because you never, ever want to forget the little moments that make up this time and just how tiny your little human was.

I love to get to know a little bit about my clients via a short questionnaire, we speak and then I photograph what I see with a little bit of gentle direction so we get the best photos of your story, unique to you. Photos that capture real feelings and emotion.
I gently lead but will go with your flow. I'm not big on specific posing. My aim is to make you feel comfortable so that I can capture your love bubble and connection, authentically. I use my skills to get the best lighting and angles so you get beautifully captured, timeless memories.
